The team that runs the part of the business you used to run yourself.
Sheefan Media builds, grows and scales businesses that already have something worth buying, with marketing and sales systems in the client's name. Here's who we are, how we work, and why it's done this way.
A marketing and sales department, without the hiring.
Most businesses we work with started the same way. The owner was the marketing. First to pick up, first to quote, first to follow up, first to ask for the next job. Then the business got bigger than one person, and nobody took that job on.
We take it on. For service-based businesses that means being the name the area already knows, answering every enquiry in seconds, chasing every quote to a yes or a no, and bringing customers back. For experts and founders it means proving the offer sells before real money goes out, then building and running everything that sells it.
Two kinds of business, one way of working. One person accountable for the result, a team under them doing the work, and everything built in the client's name.
Someone on every leg.
Getting a customer has four handovers. Each one has someone whose job it is. Across all four sits the strategy: the numbers, the offer, the price, what gets tested and built and in what order. That's Ian's seat.
Found: video, content and ads
Scripts, coaching, filming on the job, editing. Meta first, Google and LinkedIn where they earn their keep. The part that makes a business familiar before anyone needs it.
Answered: the back end
The text back in seconds, the booking page, the details on the owner's phone. Built in the client's accounts, so it stays theirs.
Chosen: follow-up and phones
The chase until it's a yes or a no. Training for whoever answers the phone. Our own people on the calls when a client would rather we brought them.
Kept: the next job
The review, the repeat job, the referral, the next offer. Asked for on purpose, not left to luck.
Three rules. No adjectives.
Everything else on this site follows from these.
- Rule one
Our job starts when the enquiry lands.
That's where most marketing stops. We're the people on the other side of that: the text back, the follow-up, the quote chased, the customer asked back.
- Rule two
We don't start without seeing your numbers.
Whatever you've got today. You'll have revenue and jobs. Most owners don't track enquiries and reply times, and that's fine: they're the first thing we set up. If we can't see the numbers we can't own them, and you can't tell whether we're worth it. We ask before anything gets built.
- Rule three
If the test says fix it first, we say so.
New offers get tested small before real budget goes out. Two clients have been told to fix it first. Both before they spent more.

Ian Teh. Accountable for the result.
Ian has sat on every side of the table. Business development for everyone from small businesses to large enterprises, work across the public sector, and enough speaking gigs to have sat across from people in every walk of life. Sales and business development were good to him, and he wanted to do them at scale.
The question that started Sheefan Media: there was only one of him, so how do you build the system and the team that do what he does, for businesses that already have something worth buying? Every room had taught him the same lesson. Anyone can build a product, a service or an app now. Almost nobody gets found, and of the ones who do, almost nobody owns what happens next. The owner used to. Then the business got bigger than one person.
He's been the person with the product too. He built and sold his own info product, Career Catapult System, so he knows what it takes to get something in front of buyers while you're also the one delivering it.
And he hates wasted time, his and yours. His bank recently made him book a branch appointment for something the app could do. The teller agreed with him. They both stood there, agreeing, while it got done the slow way anyway. That's most businesses: bloated process, nobody owning the outcome. Sheefan Media exists so that isn't how your marketing runs.
The real story, not the podium version.
Ian hosts The Sheefan Show, where founders, speakers and business owners tell the version of their story you'd hear at the pub, not from the stage.
It started because he kept watching impressive people trade their real story for a safe line. A CTO friend heard him go on about it one too many times and said the obvious thing: record the real conversations yourself. So he did.
Guests are invited after a short chat. They sit down for one real conversation and walk away with the full episode, clips and reels cut for their own channels. It's separate from the client work. If you want to know how we think before you apply, have a listen.
