Sheefan Media (“Sheefan Media,” “we,” “us”) builds and runs marketing and sales systems for established businesses across Australia, from Perth, Western Australia. This policy explains how we collect, use, store and protect personal information when you visit this website, apply to work with us, book a call, or work with us. We handle personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

What we collect

We collect information you give us directly and information generated by your use of this site:

• Application, booking and enquiry details: when you apply, book a call or submit a form, we capture your name, business name, email address, phone number and whatever you tell us about your business. This is stored in our customer relationship and booking platform (GoHighLevel), and a short internal notification is sent to us so we see it quickly.
• Website analytics: where enabled, we use the Meta Pixel and Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use this site and to measure our advertising. These tools may collect device information, pages viewed, referral source and general location (derived from IP address), and may set cookies or similar identifiers in your browser. This site is hosted on Vercel, which keeps standard server logs.
• Communications: records of emails, calls and messages exchanged with us during a consultation or an engagement.
• Client business data: during an engagement, information about your customers and enquiries passes through systems we configure in your own accounts. That data belongs to you and stays in your accounts.

How we use it

We use personal information only for legitimate business purposes, including to:

• read and respond to applications and enquiries, and schedule calls;
• deliver the services you engage us for;
• send booking confirmations, reminders and related follow-up;
• measure and improve this website and our advertising;
• meet our legal, accounting and regulatory obligations.

Disclosure of your information

We do not sell, rent or trade personal information to anyone. We disclose information only to the service providers that help us operate, such as GoHighLevel (customer relationship and booking), Vercel (hosting), Meta and Google (advertising and analytics) and our internal notification service, and only to the extent each needs to do its job. Some of these providers process data outside Australia, mainly in the United States. Where that happens we take reasonable steps to ensure your information keeps an appropriate standard of protection.

We will only disclose information to any other party if required by law, or with your consent.

Cookies and tracking

This site may use the Meta Pixel and Google Analytics 4 only where those tools are configured. If enabled, they let us see which pages and campaigns lead to applications, and build audiences for advertising. You can control or disable cookies in your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics with Google’s official browser add-on.

Security and retention

We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. We keep personal information only for as long as it is needed for the purpose it was collected, or as required by law.

Access, correction and deletion

Under the Australian Privacy Principles you can ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. To make a request, or to raise any concern about how your information is handled, use the contact form and say that it is a privacy request. We respond within a reasonable time.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices or in the law. The effective date above is the most recent revision.
